Dear Oklahoma DECA, 

      My name is Adele Geberth and I am honored to serve as your DECA state secretary.  I am looking forward to meeting with all of you. I am also looking forward to visiting with all of your schools and fulfilling my promises of increased communication and informing the officers what is to be expected of them.

      If we can dream it we can do it- that was my campaign slogan and I intend to let that be true throughout the year. My goal is for all the schools to work together and be aware of what each is doing.  I want to make your chapters aware of what is occurring at the state level and answer any questions they may have about my position. My main goal is unifying the chapters. I really want to encourage teamwork. There is a quote that states , “Teamwork is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.” We are all common people and by ourselves we couldn’t accomplish a whole lot but together we can attain the impossible. I want us to work together this year to increase chapter memberships by at least 15%, get our name out in the community, and become more involved with our civic consciousness projects.
